This website is operated by Group 4 Networks, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. NorthAmericanRemoteIT is a division of Group 4 Networks. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means Group 4 Networks and NorthAmericanRemoteIT.
We wrote this page in plain language so you can see what we collect on this website, why we collect it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. This policy covers the public website. If we later sign a service agreement with your organization, that agreement can add more detail about how we handle client systems and data.
We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). PIPEDA asks us to collect only what we need, explain the purpose, get meaningful consent where it is required, keep information secure, and let you access or correct it.
When we handle personal information of people in Quebec, we also follow Quebec Law 25. Law 25 expects clear consent, a straightforward way to see what we hold, and a way to ask for correction or deletion. Analytics and similar tools stay off until you agree.
Contact form data. If you use the contact form or the quote form, we receive details you type in, such as your name, email, phone number, company, location, team size, the service you are asking about, and your message.
Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people visit. Consent Mode v2 starts with analytics storage denied. Google does not store analytics cookies until you say yes in the cookie banner.
Microsoft Clarity only after consent. Microsoft Clarity helps us see how pages are used, including heat maps and session replays. The Clarity script loads only after you allow analytics cookies. If you decline, Clarity does not run.
Cookies. The site uses necessary cookies and local storage so the website works and so we can remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies from Google and Microsoft are used only if you accept them. Advertising cookies stay off unless you turn them on in Cookie settings.
We use contact and quote form data to reply to you, understand what you need, and keep a record of the conversation. We use analytics, after you consent, to learn which pages are helpful so we can improve the website. We store your cookie choice so we do not ask you again on every page.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use contact form details to advertise to you unless you have asked us to stay in touch about a service.
Sending a form is how you ask us to use those details to respond. You can email us later if you want us to stop using them or to delete them.
Analytics and advertising cookies need a separate yes. The cookie banner lets you accept, decline, or choose what to allow. You can change or withdraw that choice any time with Cookie settings in the footer. After you withdraw analytics consent, we update Google Consent Mode and we do not load Microsoft Clarity for new visits.
Contact and quote form submissions are kept while we are helping you and for a reasonable business-records period after that, usually up to two years from the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or by a service agreement.
Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it or change it. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity apply their own retention settings after you consent. We do not keep a separate copy of those analytics profiles on our own servers.
Google processes analytics if you allow analytics cookies. Microsoft processes Clarity data if you allow analytics cookies. Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions so we can read and answer them.
These companies act as our service providers for this website. They should use the information only to provide their service to us.
Google, Microsoft, and Netlify process information in the United States. If you submit a form or allow analytics cookies, some of your information may be stored or processed in the US. We use these providers because they host the site and the measurement tools we described above. PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 still apply to how we oversee that transfer.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you (access). You can ask us to fix information that is wrong (correction). You can ask us to delete information we no longer need (deletion). If you live in Quebec, Law 25 may give you additional rights, and we will help you exercise them.
To make a request, email privacy@g4ns.com . Please tell us which site or form you used so we can find the right record. We may need to confirm it is you before we change or delete anything.
Privacy questions and requests go to privacy@g4ns.com . You can also use our contact form or write to Group 4 Networks, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page.
